Edgar Ernest Lockyer
Edgar married Emma Sutton, a girl from Romsey in Hampshire. Her mother, also Emma and born in Romsey, was
a member of the Ingram family - one that has always been well represented in the Dorset heathland villages.
The couple had four sons, shown below.
Apart from some army service during the First World War, when he was posted to Egypt, Edgar worked for
fifty years as a commercial traveller for the confectionery company, Yeatmans.
